Description

A modular three-piece ceramic vessel designed for flowers and incense.

The exterior is largely left unglazed to preserve the natural texture of the clay, with a pale, sandy surface reminiscent of limestone. A soft blush glaze evokes pink clouds illuminated by the setting sun. A very light celadon glaze brings a delicate wash of green to the plate and incense insert.

The set includes a low vase, a shallow plate, and a removable incense insert, allowing each element to be arranged and used in different ways.

Place the plate on top of the vase to create a raised incense holder. Remove the plate to use the vessel as a vase, or rest the vase on the plate to create a composed base for flowers and collected objects.

Each piece can also be used independently.
